素朴な中にある贅沢な時間
achi (アチ) にはプールや露天風呂のような豪華な設備、テレビもありません。
シンプルな木造の箱の中にこの場所の美しい景色に風の音、匂い、鳥のさえずり、どこからともなくかすかに聞こえてくる立ち話の声まで。
ついついウトウトしてしまう。そんな”素朴な中にある贅沢な時間”をお過ごし頂ける。
そんなちいさな宿です。
There are no swimming pools, open-air baths, or televisions at achi.
In this simple wooden box, the beautiful scenery of the place, the sounds of the wind, the smells, the chirping of birds, and even the voices of people standing around talking faintly come out of nowhere.
You can’t help but fall asleep. You will enjoy such a “luxurious time in a rustic setting.

私達は2012年から2020年までの8年間
沖縄戦後米軍関係者の居住として建てられた通称外人住宅と呼ばれる建物をリノベーションした宿を運営していました。
当時使っていた家具を”achi”の雰囲気にあうようリメイクし
外人住宅の雰囲気をくわえたり、
シンプルな木の建物の中に私達の好きをたくさん詰めこみました。

We operated an inn that was renovated from a building commonly known as the Gaijin Houses, which were built as residences for U.S. military personnel after the war in Okinawa.
We remade the furniture used at the time to match the atmosphere of “achi” and added the atmosphere of the gaijin housing.
